Optimal Seat Height
The higher the seat, the less flexion is required in your hips and knees, making it easier to sit down and stand up. If your toilet seat is too high, however, you will feel unstable. The ideal height is one where your feet are flat on the floor.
Tip Place 1 or 2 coffee table (or similar large) books on a closed toilet seat and cover. Sit down, adjust the book so its under your thighs and bottom, and check your feet are flat on the floor. Add or remove books to find the ideal height. Subtract the height of the closed toilet seat and cover from the thickness of books to get the Assist Raised Toilet Seat height required.
