Large Diameter Rub-Nuts made from EPDM rubber Falcon Workshop Supplies Rub Nuts are ideal for the speedy installation of threads into a variety of materials without the need for a special setting tool. The Rub-nut is easily pushed into the pre-prepared hole in the panel. The mating component is simply offered up and a metric screw is then engaged with the thread on the Rub-nut. As the screw is tightened the rear side of the Rub-nut folds up behind the panel creating a flange which resists pull-out and creates a strong vibration resistant joint Rub-nuts are made from EPDM rubber and contain a solid brass nut insert. They do not need a special tool to set (a screwdriver will work fine). Rub-nuts can be used if the material is only accessible from one side. Rub-nuts are suitable for thin and thick plates, pipework, glass and plywood. Rub-nuts offer a watertight connection and offer no electric conduction. Rub-nuts can easily be dismantled. These are not mixed packs. Image is for illustrative purposes only.
